jessie mclaughlin is a researcher, wannabe artist and curator. they work from a queer, brown (sometimes sad) perspective, foregrounding emotional experiences and proposing these as valid methods of research. their PhD with goldsmiths and tate (funded by ARHC) looks at how to queer and decolonise the space of the art museum through working with young people. they have delivered lectures, workshops and taught at a number of institutions including Goldsmiths (University of London), University of Oxford, Barlett School of Architecture (University College London) and London College of Communication (University of the Arts London).
